You are now likely aware that Attitude Dance Company will be premiering our latest production, Perfect Pairing, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2023! This will be an incredible opportunity for our small Geelong-based arts organisation to take an original piece from Australia to Scotland and showcase the creativity and talent of our team.

Perfect Pairing is a “wine tasting dancegustation”, where we act as translators of good times and maître d's of connection. We have collaborated with Laura Viva, Wine Manager at The Hot Chicken Project, to create a unique and exciting experience that challenges the connoisseur to develop their sensory strength and pair dance with wine, and allows participants to throw away any fear of the unknown in wine and/or dance interpretation.

As a small arts organisation, we rely heavily on the support of our local community to help us achieve our goals. That's why we are partnering with the Australian Cultural Fund to launch a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for our trip to Edinburgh. The Australian Cultural Fund is a fantastic fundraising platform for Australian artists, providing tax-deductible donations to supporters and allowing artists to share their stories, passion, and creativity with the world.

Our fundraising goal is $20,000, which will completely cover our travel and accommodation expenses, venue costs, and production expenses. But even if we don't reach our goal, all donations will still go towards the project and support our Edinburgh season. We are grateful for any support we receive, big or small.

To make a difference and support us, please head to our ACF profile page and donate. All donations via the ACF over $2 are tax-deductible. Perfect Pairing is also assisted by Geelong Arts Centre, and with their help and yours, we can support a group of amazing local artists perform on the international stage!
